First Congregational Church of Naperville, a United Church of Christ, welcomes you to our candidate forum. This is an historic place of worship, the oldest church of any kind in DuPage County, and the oldest Congregational church in Northern IL. This document contains a few guidelines to ensure an orderly gathering, and to ensure the neutrality of our location for the preservation of our 501c(3) status. The news media will be seated in a special area of the sanctuary, ensuring seating in the main venue. 1. Reporters may not ask questions during the forum. 2. Reporters may use personal audio recorders in the sanctuary, but usage must not be obtrusive or distracting. 3. Auxiliary lighting may be brought into the sanctuary by members of the media. 4. Please do not conduct interviews in the sanctuary. Hallways and other rooms can be used for interviews. 5. Equipment must not create a safety hazard. 6. Camera operators may not move around the church while the forum is in session. 7. Respect the event remaining in the designated media area and do not move up to the front of the sanctuary.
