24 October:  Faith and Democracy

When American Protestants think about "faith and democracy" we ought to realize what a revolutionary tradition we are part of--and what revolutionaries we must continue to be. In this session we will look at two related "revolutions" that affirm that the will of the God, who is revealed in Jesus Christ, is continually discovered through "we the people." And we will look at the implications of this affirmation with reference to issues of public policy we face today in Illinois and America.
