Press Release Naperville Faith Collaboration to Host Senatorial Forums The Naperville Faith Collaboration will host non-partisan senatorial forums to address issues of faith and public policy. The Democratic party candidate, Barack Obama, will appear on Tuesday, October 5 and the Republican party candidate, Alan Keyes, will appear on Thursday, October 14. Both forums will be held from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the historic First Congregational Church, a United Church of Christ, in Naperville. Each candidate will have the opportunity to discuss the intersection of faith and public policy as it relates to their platform. After opening statements, the candidates will answer questions from a distinguished panel of community leaders. The panel consists of Judith Brodhead, President, Naperville League of Women Voters, Howard Mueller, Professor of Religious Studies, North Central College and H. Scott Matheney, Chaplain, Elmhurst College. The Naperville Faith Collaboration is an extraordinary coalition of religious leaders from more than 15 sponsoring faith communities including Islamic, Jewish and Christian.
