What Is Stewardship?
"As each one has received a special gift,
employ it in serving one another, as good Stewards of the manifold grace
of God”
1 Peter 4; 10
Stewardship is the recognition that all we are, and all that we have,
is a gift from God. Stewardship can take many forms, and includes our
“time, talents, and treasures”. Contributing financially to the church by
pledging is one component of stewardship,
and it is the responsibility of each of us to thoughtfully manage the
blessing that God has given us. Stewardship can also mean participating in
church committees or ministries, educational programs, and serving other church
members.
