Letter from the Past Chair of the Women's Fellowship Board, Carol FancherThe Women's Fellowship Board is one of several subgroups that functions within the Community Life Ministry. We have multiple aims in providing a variety of services and opportunities for all women of the church. The Board is the coordinating body for the "Circles". At present these are: MORNING/NOON CIRCLE---chairperson, Ellen Stone and EVENING CIRCLE---chairperson, Joan Cooke. Each of these groups meets once per month from September through June with a few months off in the summer months. Meeting locations vary according to group size and program. Program material usually combines the social and informational, although not always both at each meeting. MORNING/NOON CIRCLE: meets the 2nd Tuesday of each month 9:30 a.m. In addition to the Circle activities, the Women's Fellowship serves as the coordinating body for receptions of any kind---most frequently these have been funerals and memorials, and so often happen on short notice. We also sponsor a number of activities intended just for the female population of our church family. Among these have been the Annual Harvest Luncheon and Service project, a fun and fellowship Chick Flick and Light Supper evening, and our annual Women's Banquet which is a spring happening with a wonderful meal and delightful entertainment that changes from year to year. In between all of the above we do supply people power for additional help with a variety of Community Life projects from Coffee Hour through Easter Breakfast and/or all-church feasts, fund raisers, etc. We are a fluid and flexible group. If you see a need or an age group that is not being provided for, please let us know, and we will try to meet such needs. Please plan to join us for any of these activities.
