Stephen Ministry
The Stephen Ministry equips lay people to help those who are in crisis and/or grief and share the journey from broken to whole. Stephen Ministry is a listening ministry; we are trained to use reflective listening skills.
We come alongside people when they are at their worst and offer unconditional acceptance. We create an environment of trust and confidentiality that allows people to share their thoughts and feelings in a way that helps them to begin to make sense of a world that for them has spun out of control.
In church I love to see people reaching out to one another and truly caring about one another's lives.
