We are a unique church!

Here are some of the areas to explore to find out why!

Vision & Mission - Our mission and vision are important to us, they define who we are and where we see our place in God's world, how we will do God's work in the world.

Open & Affirming - We welcome all!

Our History - As the oldest church in DuPage county, our members have been part of every major change in the surrounding area, be it the abolitionist movement, underground railroads, the civil rights movement, community development or social action.

Just Peace Church - We try to live this out in all of our church actions.

Missions and Social Action - Striving to do what Jesus taught us to do - Walking the Talk

Language - We view language as a justice issue and have intentionally created guidelines for the worship service.  We plan our worship with sensitivity for non-limiting language with regard to gender, race, and other biases; however, worshippers can follow their own preferences.

Diversity - We explore different cultural traditions, value diverse viewpoints, promote multi-generational interaction, and welcome all into our community of faith.
