Children & Youth Page

There’s something for youth of all ages at First Congregational Church including choirs, service projects, work trips, youth group, summer camps, and Vacation Bible School.

Bible Adventure – Meets before worship on Sunday and features Bible games and activities for preschoolers through fifth grade while older children attend Sunday School and their parents check out Adult Education offerings. If you are interested in having your child participate in Bible Adventure, please contact Lewie Mitchell.

Joyful Sound – A choir experience for our preschool through grade five children. They perform in worship once a month.

Youth Choir – Meets each Sunday at 11:15 a.m. to practice. The Youth Choir sings in worship once a month, usually the first Sunday, and performs a wide variety of music.

Youth Group – Meets each Sunday evening from 6 to 8 p.m. and includes  games, fellowship, outings, fund-raisers, work trips and service projects.  We have an enthusiastic group of junior high and high schoolers who meet every week during the school year. We are always happy to have new youth and their friends come for fellowship on Sunday night.

Work Trips – Each summer our youth participate in a work trip. Past trips have included Denver, Louisiana, West Virginia and Chicago where they have assisted with rebuilding homes.
