Pastor & Staff
Mark Winters grew up in the eastern part of Washington State. He received a BA in English from Boston College in 1999, and a Master of Divinity from Chicago Theological Seminary in 2009. Prior to seminary, he worked in social services in the Seattle area, did some part time youth work, some volunteering in Northern Ireland and even spent 4 baseball seasons selling pizza at Fenway Park in Boston.
Mark was born and raised in the United Church of Christ. He loves potlucks, youth activities, bad jokes, good worship and deep theological conversations. Mark enjoys talking with folks about their faith questions, even if they don't have answers. He is passionate about examining the implications of theology in the world, especially in issues of peace and justice.
Mark and his family live in Naperville.
