Worship With Us
Our sanctuary, with its beautiful stained glass windows and 100-year-old Austin pipe organ, was dedicated in 1906 and provides the perfect worship setting. Worship services are held every Sunday at 10:00 a.m. Childcare is provided in our nursery. Children participate in the first half of the service after which preschool through fifth graders attend Christian Education classes.
Our worship style is informal and uplifting. Lay people participate as worship leaders side-by-side with clergy. Music is an important, vital part of our service and we explore a variety of hymns and musical genres. Our church community is blessed with a wealth of musical talents and we willingly share these gifts by singing or playing instruments. There are choirs for all ages in addition to the Chime Ringers.
While we usually follow a traditional service format, we incorporate many different styles of worship throughout the year. Most of the common readings in the service are written in inclusive language but we welcome you to use whatever words are most meaningful to you.
We typically follow the “Revised” Common Lectionary, a plan of using scriptures over a three-year cycle. Our bible of choice is the New Revised Standard Versions (NRSV). Our worship services are recorded for those who are unable to worship with us in person on Sunday morning.

I love coming to church because I see and feel longtime members and new ones working to create a space for God in the sanctuary and beyond.
