Community Life Ministry
The mission of First Congregational Community Life Ministry (CLM) is to serve God by offering care for members and friends at all stages of participation, and to offer diverse and welcoming opportunities to connect with one another.
CLM seeks to strengthen the lives, relationships and spirituality of congregants by helping them share with each other in meaningful ways beyond worship and education classes.
CLM, supported by pastoral staff, develops lay ministry programs and services that provide care and spiritual support for those in need, including short term emergency care, longer term friendly visits to senior members, and care by Stephen Ministers to people with special concerns, troubling situations, or significant losses.
CLM sponsors food and fellowship activities to promote fun, interaction, and friendships across all age groups.
CLM encourages supportive groups to form around common interests, devotional time, Bible study, mission-oriented and social activities.
