DESCRIPTION:This year\, our Youth Group will be participating in the 35th Annual DuPage River Sweep\, sponsored by the Conservation Foundation. We have signed up to  participate at McDowell Grove off of River Road in Naperville on Saturday\, April 18 from 9:00 a.m. until 12:00 noon. This event is open to anyone at the church who would like to participate.  Please click here to sign up. We ask that you sign up no later than Friday\, April 3. Hope that you can join us!

DESCRIPTION:Styrofoam Collection \nWe hope to see Styrofoam disappear from our community\, but in the\nmeantime we will continue to send it back to Dart for reprocessing into\nnew containers. \nFood Staples Collection \nThe West Suburban Community Pantry is now providing 1000 neighbors a\nweek with nutritious produce\, meats\, and baked and dry goods through\nboth an in-person market and an online market. We can help fill the\nshelves with our donations. You can also make a direct financial\ncontribution to the pantry through this link \nWe’re also including electronics recycling this time.   Start gathering all things electronic including hair dryers\, power tools\, even blenders\, mixers\, and lamps; toasters and old electronics cords. We’re asking for a free-will cash donation with 100% of proceeds go to the City of Naperville’s Renewable Energy Program. \nDo you need to recycle CRTs\, Flat Screens\, and Projection TVs? The City of Naperville charges to recycle these items. An under 21-inch screen is $25 per unit; and a 21-inch screen and over is $35 per unit. Cash only for these items. Need help bringing them in? Talk with Tom Farthing or Pete Fales and we’ll try and pick them up at your house. \n
