Youth Outlook will be offering an educational event on Sunday, March 1
from 1:00-3:00 in the Community Room. The title of this event is:
“Supporting our LGBTQ+ Friends and Neighbors: An Introduction to
Allyship.” The session will enlighten attendees on affirming LGBTQ+
terminology, the current experiences of the LGBTQ+ community, and the
powerful role allies play in supporting inclusivity. We will strengthen
understanding further by engaging in discussions and working through
practice scenarios. The session will conclude with additional resources
for continued learning. We hope to see you at this important event.
