Switchin’ the Kitchen

We are excited to announce the launch of our “Switchin’ the Kitchen” fundraising campaign! Some of our church’s best moments happen in our Community Room and kitchen, where we share fellowship and fun with our congregation.
A few years ago, we renovated the Community Room, but we decided it would be financially and strategically challenging to do the kitchen simultaneously. At the beginning of this year, we realized that the kitchen stove and hood needed to be replaced imminently for safety reasons. As we explored the issue further, we recognized that it made the most sense financially and logistically to address overdue problems with the cabinets and flooring as well.
Our kitchen design team has been hard at work over the summer and fall, figuring out the project’s scope and cost, talking to designers and contractors, and exploring how to accomplish this project in a safe, financially responsible manner. We currently estimate a cost of @$56,000, which would include a new stove and hood, new dishwasher, new cupboards, new countertops, and new flooring.
The kitchen is the heart of the home, and, in many ways, it is the heart of our church home also. We look forward to sharing many memorable meals and special times in the future, but we need your help to make this happen.
